for creating a photo gift or mug?

After your payment is received, we will start to process your order
Email us your photo
Tell us what Frame My Photos frame to put it in (not required - we do many
with just a photo)
Tell us what text you'd like to add (if any)
We will do some editing (cropping, brightness, etc.) on your photo for
the best look (we don't fix red eye, and can't fix low resolution or bad photos)
If we need your input
or you request it, we'll send you a proof to approve ( we create
proofs and do gift production only during our normal business hours M-F
8:00-5:00 )
We'll ship your personalized
photo gift or mug usually within 2-4 business days after
your approval of the proof. Most orders go out the same business day or
the next business day,
but we get
huge orders from time to time so it may take more than 4 business days to get
your order out.

TIPS FOR MAKING A GREAT PHOTO GIFT
Start with a good photo.
We work with all photos, but it's tough to make something look great from
a photo that's 200 pixels tall or wide.
Avoid large regions of one color especially black for mugs and mouse pads. The natural surfaces of the mugs and mouse pads vary ever so slightly in height and texture. That works excellent for photos giving them a realistic look, but doesn't look good for large flat regions of the same color.
Avoid really thin fonts.
What looks great on screen won't be readable on a mug or mouse pad
Digital photos taken outdoors tend to have better color and detail. If you're planning to take a photo for a gift, think about taking it outdoors.
Leave some room around the person or object that you're taking the photo of. Most digital cameras have plenty of mega-pixels at this point, so don't zoom in too much. We can always do that later as we're applying your image to your photo gift. With a little room at the top, bottom, left and right we'll have room to move and compose your photo gift for it's best possible look.

We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance ($1.65 - per $50.00 of products purchased). The buyer is responsible for adding insurance before checking out. We cannot add insurance to your order after you've checked out. We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged packages. Shipping insurance would completely cover the replacement and shipping cost if your software, mug(s) or other photo gift items were to be lost or damaged in transit.
Please inspect your package upon arrival, and let us know within 7 days if any damage has occurred in shipment.
In order to provide the lowest possible prices, all sales are final and we do not accept returns at this time.
All communication with Frame My Photos, LLC. is done via e-mail. All e-mail correspondence must include the buyer's name, purchase date and order number. E-mails not including these items will not be responded to
All photo gift items must be completed within 2 weeks of the purchase date, or will be subject to a $4.00 per item production surcharge.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time. We're not in the office so we cannot respond to e-mails, ship products or produce photo gifts outside of our stated office hours. We are also unavailable on all federal and generally observed holidays.
