Our Framing Station Ultimate Combo Pack is your best and most cost effective place to start. It is the most complete product we sell, and it allows you to purchase frames at the lowest cost possible. I hate spending more than I have to, and I know that our customers feel the same way. As a customer service agent for Frame My Photos, I can tell you that we have specials on different products all the time. Take advantage of them when they come around. We have over one hundred products, so you might have to wait a year or more before we advertise a special on a particular item. We also have specials that are limited in quantity, so don't delay if you see something you like. "I have most of your frame packs and enjoy printing them. The Christmas pack is what we use the most as we make our own cards" "I like the simplicity of opening a photo and point and click to add creative frames--which adds FUN to any picture! Thank you!!" |
The Top Twenty Consumer Photo Mistakes We'll focus in this newsletter on five of the top twenty mistakes that most people make when taking photos. Unfortunately the advent of digital cameras didn't fix the same basic mistakes we all made with our film cameras. We hope that this series will be helpful to you in making you think about your photos. Don't keep them waiting Let's face it. People get bored and impatient when they are forced to wait for the photographer to take the photo. Digital cameras take time to start up, so don't force everyone to wait for you. Turn on your camera as everyone is assembling for the photo. That way, you are ready to shoot at a moment's notice. Don't take police line up photos When taking photos of friends and family, don't put them all in a line. Mix it up a little. Sometimes photos seem so stiff and posed with everyone in a straight line and wearing a forced smile. Play Hollywood director and get your subjects to pose a little. If you are traveling, have them point at something. If your taking a photo at home, loosen everyone up by taking a photo with them making a funny face. When people are having fun, they are more likely to look happy and comfortable in your photo. No clear subject One of the biggest mistakes that most of us consumers make when using our cameras is to take photos that don't really have a clear subject. What are you taking that picture of? Is it a person, a place, an object? Well you really need to make it clear in the photo. So often the person in the photo is REALLY small. When looking at the photo you're not sure if it is a photo of a place or of a person. Be sure to choose the subject of your photo before your click: take a moment to compose your shot. Digital zoom Camera, technology and photo companies have spent tens of millions of dollars to perfect the look of all of our digital photos. They work tirelessly to perfect our photo prints and photo printers. They develop new ways to enhance our JPG files. The kryptonite to all of their hard work is the worst invention of the last century, digital zoom. Digital zoom kills all attempts by photo kiosks and photo printers to enhance your image as they print them. Do yourself a big favor, and enhance all of your future digital photos by turning off your digital zoom right now. You are shooting digital - they're free so take a bunch of photos Always remember that you are shooting with a digital camera. Take a bunch of photos to make sure that you have one that you're going to like. There's nothing worse than getting home and finding out that your special photo was blurry, dark or Grandma was looking down. There are so many things you can't see in your 10 mega-pixel image displayed on your 2-3 inch camera screen. The solution is easy and free. Take a bunch of photos, and pick the one you like. |
